This folder contains some personal data from Mel Janowitz, as well as
some corrections and some supplemental material from the book 
Ordinal and Relational Clustering by Melvin F. Janowitz. 
The typo file is due to Professor Stanley Sclove, University of Illinois 
at Chicago Circle. The Flyer file has a flyer describing the book. 
The tutorial file has a tutorial that was once presented at a 
Classification Society meeting held at University of Wisconsin. 
There is a submission to a Springer volume honoring Boris Mirkin.
on his 70th birthday. Also there is addendum to this file that 
contains a concrete illustration of a generalized oligarchy.     

   More recently there is an updated background for Generalized 
Oligarchhies, slides for a Dimacs talk given on September 19, 2013, 
slides fot a Colloquim lecture given at University of Louisville on 
October 3, and a presentation to the AMS meeting at Louisville on 
October 5, 2013. There is also a backup file for slides that describe 
an abstract set theoreic version of the theory of congruences on a 
finite latice.
